marionanni, master at marionannischolé, writes the light for the inaugural exhibition of the fondazione dries van noten, held within the rooms of palazzo pisani moretta in venice.

the project begins by listening to a place steeped in history and accompanies the dialogue between art, fashion, material and fine craftsmanship. light does not impose itself upon the works or the architecture: it slowly reveals them, preserves their shadows and, room after room, creates a sensitive narrative.

marionanni’s practice is thus intertwined with his teaching: observing, understanding and experimenting become part of a single design method. a measured, ever-changing light inhabits the palazzo without altering its memory, restoring to beauty the strength of a necessary gesture.
